Corporate Logo Usage

This page contains all approved versions of the GES – Solar Energy Systems Magazine logo, its file formats and usage rules. For news, events, partnerships and press work, please use our logo from the files on this page.

File formats

SVG (vector, screen)	Websites, digital design, presentations; stays sharp at any size. SVG files are included in the ZIP package.
PNG (transparent, screen)	Office documents, e-mail signatures, social media and quick use.
PDF (vector, CMYK print)	Magazine ads, brochures, posters, trade fairs and all print work.
ZIP (full package)	All files above, the usage guide, profile picture and site icon.

Typefaces

• The GES letters are custom-drawn; never type them, always use the logo file.
• Descriptor lines: Avenir Next Condensed Demi Bold. Web fallback: Barlow Semi Condensed SemiBold.

Usage rules

• Use the primary logo on light backgrounds and the reversed version on dark backgrounds. On photos without enough contrast, place the logo on a solid area.
• Clear space: leave at least half the height of the letter G on every side of the logo.
• Minimum size: full logo 35 mm in print, 180 px on screen. For smaller uses, use the short GES-only version (at least 12 mm / 48 px); in square areas, use the symbol.
• Keep the thin separators between the letters; do not redraw, recolour, skew or stretch the logo, and do not add shadows or effects.
• For one-colour print, use the black version; the sun disc is printed as a 30% black tint.
