Türkiye’s Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (ETKB) has approved 1/5,000-scale master and 1/1,000-scale implementation zoning plans for the Nevşehir 3-5 DGES project in Acıgöl, Nevşehir, the Evci DGES project in Alaca, Çorum, and the Binpınar storage-backed solar power plant in Hınıs, Erzurum. The plans have been put on public display for 15 days under the Regulation on Zoning and Permit Procedures for Wind and Solar Power Plants published in the Official Gazette No. 33319 of 24 July 2026.
Nevşehir 3-5 DGES: two 10 MWe storage-backed plants
The zoning plans for the project planned in Topaç, Acıgöl were approved by Ministerial Approval No. 433061 of 27 October 2026 and have been on display since 2 November 2026. According to the plan explanatory report, the site covers two plants, Nevşehir-3 DGES and Nevşehir-5 DGES, each with an installed capacity of 10 MWe / 10 MWm and a storage capacity of 10 MWe / 10 MWh.
Evci DGES and Binpınar storage-backed solar
The zoning plans for the Evci DGES project in Büyükcamili, Alaca (Çorum) were approved by Ministerial Approval No. 432647 of 23 October 2026 and have been on display since 27 October 2026.
The plans for the Binpınar storage-backed solar power plant in Köprübaşı, Hınıs (Erzurum) were approved by Ministerial Approval No. 430860 of 19 October 2026 and put on display for 15 days from 23 October 2026.
Objections in writing
The plans are displayed on the ministry’s announcements page and on the notice board at the entrance of its main building. According to the ministry’s display records, objections may be submitted in writing to the ETKB Department of Zoning and Permit Procedures within the display period.
